Currently, the Ulibarri Leadership Foundation is offering scholarships for students who are starting the first year of their undergraduate education in the fall semester of 2023. We recognize that there are many deserving students who do not fit into this category and we sincerely hope to expand our offerings soon. This application will be open from the 29th of June, 2023 until the 14th of July, 2023. On July 14th, we will follow up with all applicants to provide further details on the timeline and process from that point forward. The Ulibarri Leadership Foundation (“the Foundation”) scholarships are awarded to individuals who exemplify the values of academic achievement, athletic excellence, sportsmanlike manner, and financial need. The Foundation, at its discretion, reserves the right to either increase or decrease the number of awards given or the amount of those awards based on either the candidates in the applicant pool or the financial state of the Foundation. The dates given for application responses and financial aid disbursement may change at the sole discretion of the Ulibarri Leadership Foundation.

The awards will be granted based on careful consideration of the applications submitted, any information publicly available about the applicant, and any additional information that the Foundation may request. The Foundation reserves the right to contact all applicants for additional information if deemed necessary. This is not an indication of the status of an individual’s application. This can involve (but is not limited to) the following:

• A phone call or video meeting to discuss candidacy

• A request for additional documentation regarding financial need or academic achievement

• Follow-up questions regarding answers provided in the application or any additional information that the Foundation may have about the applicant

By filling out and submitting a scholarship application to the Ulibarri Leadership Foundation, each applicant asserts that they have read and understand these terms and conditions, and that all of the information provided is true and complete to the best of their knowledge. Each applicant also consents to their name, image, and information being used by the Foundation for promotional purposes.
