About Us: The Ulibarri Leadership Foundation is dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders in the disc golf community. Our mission centers around providing scholarships to student athletes who are passionate about disc golf and pursuing a college education.
Job Description: We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our team for a 3-month period. As an intern with a passion for disc golf, you will play a crucial role in helping us grow our online presence and engage with the disc golf community. This position is unpaid, but we offer a chance to gain hands-on experience in the world of digital marketing while making a meaningful contribution to our organization.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling and relevant content related to disc golf, scholarships, and leadership. This content may include blog posts, social media graphics, videos, and other digital assets.
Social Media Management: Assist in managing our social media accounts by curating and scheduling content, responding to comments, and fostering meaningful interactions with our followers.
Email Marketing: Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns to keep our audience informed about our scholarship opportunities, events, and initiatives.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Learn and apply SEO strategies to optimize our website and improve organic visibility in search engines.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor the performance of digital marketing efforts using tools like Google Analytics, and present findings to the marketing team.
Community Engagement: Actively engage with the disc golf community on social media platforms and online forums to build relationships and raise awareness about our foundation's scholarships.
Requirements:
A strong passion for disc golf and a good understanding of the sport's culture and community.
Enthusiasm for pursuing a career in digital marketing or a related field.
Familiarity with major social media platforms and experience using them for personal or professional purposes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus but not required.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote work environment.
Detail-oriented and capable of meeting deadlines.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, or a relevant field (preferred but not mandatory).
